The Cervantes Institute updates the registration procedure for the DELE exam for non-literate candidates

The Cervantes Institute offers, starting with the next call in October, a specific registration for the DELE A2 exam for non-literate people who apply for Spanish nationality by residence in the country.

As reported by the cultural entity, registration for this adapted oral test can be done through the Cervantes exam website at the exam centers that administer the ordinary DELE A2 call, with the same price and on the dates of regular calls.

In this sense, it has indicated that, to complete this new online registration process, candidates must register with their NIE and include in their application the authorized waiver from the Ministry of Justice, which they will have to present on the day of the test in the exam center.

Likewise, the Cervantes Institute has pointed out that people who take this specific oral test are exempt from completing the rest of the tests. Those who pass it will receive a certificate to that effect –a requirement demanded by the Ministry of Justice–, but not the DELE diploma.

Information regarding dates, center locator, preparation and registration materials and resources can be found on the following website. In addition, the frequently asked questions section incorporates updated information about this test.

The DELE A2 exams adapted to candidates who cannot read or write respond to the existing demand and ensure equal opportunities through the provision of a specific quota for applicants“, it is finished.
