“Still working on things”: Pete Davidson and his partner have split

Comedian Pete Davidson and his partner Elsie Hewitt, who just gave birth to their first daughter five months ago – have decided to separate. According to a source who spoke to PEOPLE magazine, the two have broken up but are “still trying to work things out.” The couple’s relationship has already known ups and downs in the past, including breakups and reunions, and according to reports, they have been facing difficulties in their relationship since birth.

Davidson (32) and Hewitt (30) started dating in March 2025 and announced in July of that year that they were expecting their first child. The separation comes 5 months after the birth of their first daughter Scotty Rose, named after Davidson’s father, Scott Matthew, who was a firefighter who was killed in the 9/11 attacks.

In an interview last March, Davidson talked about life as a father: “Father life is fucking amazing. It’s exhausting, rewarding and cute. I’m lucky because Elsie is an amazing mom.” Since the birth, the two have occasionally shared photos and updates about their daughter on the networks, but avoided revealing her face.

Last December, when Davison and Hewitt’s daughter was born, Hewitt wrote on Instagram: “Our perfect angel has arrived, she is my best work so far. I am overwhelmed with love and joy.”
