After being sued for millions of dollars: Jada Pinkett Smith won the trial

After a difficult period in the headlines, the actress and Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, can finally breathe a sigh of relief. The actress registered a significant legal victory against Bilal Salem, who was previously her husband’s friend and professional partner and was awarded the amount of $32,836.

Recall that the drama began when Salem filed a huge lawsuit against the actress for three million dollars. According to him, Jada and her associates conducted a smear campaign and threats against him after he refused to help with “damage control” for the family following the famous incident at the 2022 Oscars, in which Will Smith slapped Chris Rock. Salem even went so far as to claim that Jaida threatened his life at Will’s birthday party in 2021, when she allegedly told him that he would “disappear or take a bullet” if he continued to talk about her personal affairs in private.

But in court, the wheel turned: Jaida vehemently denied all claims of threats or harm caused to Salem, and managed to convince the judge to dismiss a significant part of his claims. Now, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge has ruled that Salem is the one who will have to pay Jaida an amount of $32,836 for her legal expenses.
