“They stole my peace and happiness”: Aisap Rocky breaks his silence about the shooting at his home

The drama surrounding the shooting incident at the house of Rihanna and Aesop Rocky (A$AP)refuses to relax. In an interview he gave to VIBE, he shared details about the shooting incident that took place in their home last March and reveals how fresh the scars are still.

Rocky said that the stressful event simply robbed him of the “peace and happiness of just being free”. The rapper shared his hard feelings about the invasion of privacy and the danger, and admitted that it’s just “screwed” that someone tried to hurt him and his family.

Remember, the stressful incident happened when Ivana Lisette Ortiz, a 35-year-old woman who previously harassed Rihanna online, arrived at their home in Los Angeles armed, allegedly, with an assault rifle. Ortiz started shooting at the luxury property. The family claims that nearly ten bullets hit the house, with one of them even penetrating through the wall. Inside the house at the same time were the three young children of the couple: 4-year-old Riza, 3-year-old Riot Rose, and 1-year-old Rocky Irish, along with Rihanna’s mother who was watching over them.

Last month it was Rihanna herself who recounted the chilling moments of horror in leaked court documents. The singer told how her partner was sleeping at those critical moments, and when the shots started to be heard, she shouted to him: “They are shooting at us”, and immediately pushed him to the floor of the trailer to protect him with her body. Afterwards, the couple did spot bullet holes in the windshield of the trailer they were staying in.

Meanwhile, the accused in the shooting is being held in custody on bail of over 10 million dollars, and is facing charges of attempted murder and weapons offenses – while she claims in court: “I did not try to murder”.
