ARCOmadrid 2027 opens the call for its General Program

ARCOmadrid 2027 has officially opened the deadline for submitting applications to participate in the General Program, the central axis of the fair. Galleries interested in taking part in this edition, which will be held from March 3 to 7 organized by Ifema Madrid, will be able to send their proposals until September 17, 2026.

In parallel to the main section, ARCOmadrid will have different curated programs, which will have a “prominent” role in the configuration of the fair. According to the organization of the fair, ARCO2046 will reflect, once again, on possible futures in the conception of the world and art. It will be made up of two spaces within the fair curated respectively by João Mourão and Luis Silva, and by Max Andrews and Mariana Cánepa Luna (Latitudes).

Additionally, the ‘Opening. New galleries’, curated by Rafa Barber Cortell and Bernardo Mosqueira, will bring together a selection of galleries with less than eight years of experience. For its part, the ‘Profiles / Latin American Art’ project, curated by José Esparza Chong Cuy, will renew ARCOmadrid’s historic link with the Latin American art scene.

With its next edition, the organization of the fair reinforces its “commitment” to generating “a space for dialogue” around contemporary art that promotes the exchange of knowledge and collaboration between agents, contributing to boosting the success of the participating galleries and strengthening the contents of the fair.

Furthermore, it wants to consolidate itself as a platform for the visibility and development of new opportunities, as well as for professional exchange within the international artistic ecosystem. “With this new call, ARCOmadrid reaffirms its role as an international platform for the dissemination and discovery of contemporary art, and as a key meeting point for gallery owners, artists, collectors, curators and institutions,” highlights the organization.
