Streaming service Netflix receives strong criticism in Ukraine because of the Russian cartoon series for children. Netflix has shown Rice and carrots -animated series during the war of aggression launched by Russia, and it recently acquired the rights to two new seasons of the series.
Ukrainian news agency UNN says that more and more Ukrainians have canceled their Netflix subscriptions Rice and carrots because of the series. Viewers have demanded on social media that Netflix tighten its policy regarding Russian content.

The series can be watched via Netflix in more than a hundred countries. It is Pipsa Piglet, Group Haun and CoComelonin along with the world’s most famous brands aimed at under-school age children.
The main characters of the series are the four-year-old girl Maša and a former circus bear who lives in a house in the middle of the forest.
Rice and carrots – series has long been considered in Western countries as a soft force of Russian propaganda, which is intended to influence the images related to Russia.
The series is produced by the Russian company Animaccord. It has said that it is an independent operator and that it has not received funding from the Russian administration.
