Lindemann invites you to the “Till Fest” in Leipzig: the “Völki” as a backdrop

The chairman of the Völkerschlachtdenkmal Foundation, Anselm Hartinger, told the “Leipziger Volkszeitung” that Lindemann’s martial demeanor was not suitable for a sensitive place like the Völkerschlachtdenkmal. The foundation is not concerned with cancel culture, but rather with its goal of “removing the Leipzig landmark, which is associated with the memory of war and suffering, from the context of violence that has been used again and again in history.” A local resident started a petition against the festival.

At the “Till Fest” on Friday and Saturday, Lindemann and the US bands Ministry and Aesthetic Perfection will be performing on both evenings. The rest of the line-up changes.
