Police has found a huge amount of illegal drugs in the UK buried in the ground at the Creamfields festival site. Tells about it BBC.
The music festival will take place from the 27th to the 30th. August near Liverpool in the village of Daresbury in Cheshire. More than 80,000 visitors are expected for the festival.
Cheshire Police say that around 204 rounds of laughing gas and large bags containing ecstasy and ketamine tablets were found in the area just days before the start of the festival.
Drugs burial in the festival area is not a new phenomenon. Andy Blizard Police in Chesire tell the BBC that every year they deal with cases where drugs have been hidden in the area even months before the festival.
The police are now trying to find out who the buried drugs belong to and will continue to investigate the area until the start of the festival. It is expected that more drugs will be found during the search.
