The legal battle between Chris Brown (37) and his ex and the mother of his daughter, Diamond Brown (28), is going up a notch. According to documents submitted to the court and obtained today (Monday) by the TMZ website, Diamond accuses the singer of “disturbing behavior”, which includes threats to her partners, as part of the child support battle between the two regarding their 4-year-old daughter Lovely.
The relationship between the former couple, who despite the same last name never married, ended about two years ago. Although Brown has since had a new partner and another child, Diamond describes him as an ex who is unwilling to let go. “He gets very angry when I go out with other men,” as written in the documents. “He threatened to kill my last partner, and continued to threaten not only him but also his twin brother.” According to her, Chris does not always act himself, but sometimes makes sure that “third parties” deliver the threatening message.
Diamond claims that the situation repeated itself with another man with whom she dated more than a year after the breakup. “Both of those relationships ended because of Chris’ harassment,” she now claims. “I shouldn’t be afraid to move on with my life just because of his anger and resentment.”
Within this saga is also their common daughter. In the last six months, as the ex claims, Brown has not asked to see her even once. In addition, the singer lashed out at her in front of their daughter, according to her, during a birthday party, an incident she says was “harmful and especially inappropriate”. She also claims that he tried to harass her through the networks.
At this time, Diamond is not seeking a restraining order, she said in an attempt to give the singer a chance to stop what she described as “scary behavior.” Her lawyers contacted Brown’s representatives already in March with a request that he stop his behavior, but according to her nothing has changed. “I feel like I’ve been living under siege and I’d love to have the right to enjoy my life in peace,” she said.
At the same time, Diamond claims that Brown, who she says is worth about $50 million, earns significantly more than her, while her income amounts to only $1,500 a month. According to her, he refuses to hand over financial documents that would make it possible to determine the amount of alimony and even “delayed all attempts to discover the documents and tried to make Diamond spend the money.” She emphasizes that she is not asking for the same standard of living as his, but only “a basic level that will be sufficient for the girl’s needs”. What adds fuel to the struggle, for her, is the gifts received by the other mothers of his children – four from four different women.
According to the documents, Brown purchased a pink Porsche for the mother of his youngest son and a black Cadillac Escalade for the mother of his first daughter, with both vehicles being prominently posted on Instagram. “I’m not asking for the same standard of living as Chris’s,” she clarified, “just a basic level that will be sufficient for the girl’s needs.”
The singer’s side denies the allegations of harassment; The email sent by his lawyer to the ex’s legal team reads: “Chris denies these things. In fact, I continue to see your client posting things that are inappropriate. Please send me specific details so that I can understand and assist if this is really happening.”
The legal saga between the two began in May 2026, when Diamond filed a child support and custody lawsuit against Chris and sought primary custody of their daughter, with Brown opposing the request.
