Operates as usual
The family further states that the company continues operations as usual with CEO Benjamin Røpke at the helm.

Jacob Bahne Sørensen leaves behind his wife Helle Bahne and two adult daughters.

Jacob Bahne Sørensen has led the Bahne chain since 1993, after he took it over from his father, Jørgen Bahne, who established the company in 1965.

Bahne Sørensen has since run the company together with his wife, Helle Bahne Sørensen, and his brother Troels Bahne Ingemann.

Bahne has 22 stores around Denmark and sells, among other things, clothing, interior design and applied art.

The first store was opened in 1965, when Jørgen Bahne Sørensen and his wife Ellen Bahne opened the doors to their store in Slagelse.
