The gala of the 39th edition of the Goya Awards which will be celebrated in Granada will take place next February 8, as announced this Wednesday by the president of Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of Spain Fernando Mndez-Leite.
In a joint appearance with the mayor of Granada, Marifrn Carazo, Méndez-Leite announced that they are already working on organizing the parallel activities that will accompany the celebration in the coming months.
Granada, which will make its Congress Palace available to host the gala, will thus take over next year from Valladolid, which hosted the last edition of the film awards.
