An 18-year-old Chinese woman spent 4 million yuan ($563,000) on plastic surgery over the course of 5 years in an attempt to look like her favorite star and become famous on social media. Chinese media reported that the young woman’s doctor, Zhu Chuna, told her of the danger of undergoing further operations.
Zhou Chuna, from Zhejiang Province in eastern China, had been obsessed with plastic surgery since she was thirteen years old because she wanted to be beautiful like her favorite Chinese actress, Esther Yu, and she dreamed of becoming famous.
Cho underwent more than 100 surgeries, all of which her parents paid for.
