“Trends” organizes a symposium on the skills of young researchers

The Trends Center for Research and Consulting, in cooperation with the Al-Ittihad News Center, organized a panel discussion entitled “The Importance of Research and Student Exchange in Refining the Skills of Young Researchers,” in the “Trends” Pavilion at the Paris Book Fair, held at the Exhibition Center in the Grand Palais Yvemir/the heart of Paris, in the presence and participation of Professor Patrice Brodeur/ An associate professor at the University of Montreal, and Emirati students at the Sorbonne University, researchers, media professionals, and content creators.

The panel discussion covered a comprehensive overview of the importance of research and student exchange to enhance and develop the skills of young people, especially researchers, and the role of think tanks, universities, educational institutions and media in this with a global vision, in addition to bridging global dialogue.

Dr. said. Mohammed Abdullah Al Ali, CEO of the Trends Center, said that the Center has important experience in enhancing research cooperation with Emirati and international academic institutions, as it hosted many students from these universities and institutions to train them on scientific research tools.

In turn, Dr. Hamad Al Kaabi, CEO of the Al Ittihad News Center, expressed his appreciation for the role and efforts of the Trends Center in enhancing the capabilities of young researchers, stressing the role of the media in promoting global cultural dialogue and bringing peoples and cultures closer together.

For his part, Professor Patrice Brodeur, associate professor at the Canadian University of Montreal, said that the integration of students into research and student exchange programs in other countries and cultures holds many advantages for them, including getting to know different cultures and enhancing their educational attainment.

Researcher Warda Al-Menhali, a member of the Trends Youth Council, spoke at the youth discussion panel, noting that the council represents the youth arm of “Trends,” as it is concerned with empowering youth in research and knowledge.

She said that the Council has launched many initiatives to enhance the awareness of young researchers and students about the importance of knowledge and educational exchange, and it supervises the scientific research program for young researchers, which publishes youth research in coordination with universities and research centers, pointing out that “Trends” has organized many international events aimed at empowering Young people, increasing their knowledge and enhancing awareness of the importance of investing in them.

Researcher Maryam Al Ketbi, member of the Trends Youth Council, touched on the efforts made by the center to develop the skills of young researchers.

Hazza Bu Hazza and Rashid Al Hosani, students at the Sorbonne University, participated in the discussion. Trends also continued to attract the public to learn about its publications, and cultural and parliamentary figures visited the pavilion who inquired about Trends’ work and efforts.
