Rania Youssef: Mohamed Salam caused a crisis for artists unnecessarily

Egyptian artist Rania Youssef revealed that artist Mohamed Salam caused a crisis for many artists unnecessarily, because of his way of announcing his withdrawal from one of the plays that was recently shown in Saudi Arabia. Rania Youssef explained in press statements that she was surprised by the position of Muhammad Salam, who publicly apologized for not participating in the play. Because of his feeling of inability to present a comedic work in light of the difficult humanitarian events that the Palestinians are going through in Gaza, he then went to film his role in the series “Al-Kabir Awi 8” to play a comedic character. She said that Salam’s statements not only embarrassed Fouad and Mohamed Anwar, but also caused a campaign of criticism of the artists on social media platforms.
