“We love you Véro”: shy beginning, magic piano and eternal fans for Véronique Sanson at the Grand Rex

“Hasta Luego.” Like a “goodbye”. We can’t help but think about it when we see the name of Véronique Sanson’s tour which stops until Wednesday at the Grand Rex in Paris before returning on June 3 and 4. One last round of singing? A final show at 74? Maybe. Maybe not. You never know with the singer from whom we have been waiting for months for an album produced with the complicity of Vianney. But for the moment nothing new. No record to sell, just a musical heritage to defend, on this Monday evening, April 22, in front of a packed house that is already shouting “Véro” as soon as the lights are off.

Véro arrives and sings “Véronique”, the first classic taken from her legendary “Le Maudit”, this famous album from 1974 where she spoke of her American exile, her breakup with Michel Berger, her meeting with Stephen Stills and even the birth of her son Christopher, who has just played his first game at the start of the evening.
