Dr. Ehud Flis, head of the department of gender surgery at the Ichilov Hospital, completed his specialization at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. In an interview with the N12 news service, he said that the first patients were already booked for June. According to him, phalloplasty is fundamentally more complicated than the operation already mastered in Israel to shape the female genital organs, which is carried out by three specialists in various clinics in the country.
