Israeli Ministry of Health: in both cases, suspicions of Ebola were not confirmed

Israel’s Health Ministry said test results on two men hospitalized for suspected Ebola infection came back negative.

The ministry stressed that currently no confirmed case of Ebola has been diagnosed in Israel, but urged the population to avoid unnecessary travel to regions with active cases.

In addition, travelers returning from such areas who experience a fever or other unusual symptoms within 21 days of returning are asked to stay home, avoid contact with others and contact the Kol HaBriut information line at *5400.
