Experts found: if you eat these three things, bad breath will disappear

Experts have determined that the cure for bad breath is more accessible than we thought, and it is actually in our kitchens. A meta-analysis of existing studies found that probiotic bacteria found in foods such as Yogurt, sourdough bread and miso soup can clean the plaque responsible for bad breath from the teeth and tongue.

Volatile sulfur compounds are the main cause of persistent bad breath that occurs when bacteria living on the tongue break down proteins too quickly and create excess of the smelly chemical.

Probiotic bacteria are bacteria that are considered “good” and live in the body, breaking down and absorbing nutrients and protecting against harmful bacteria.

Common treatments against bad breath such as rinsing with mouthwash, chewing gum and cleaning the tongue are effective treatments in the short term, but poor eating habits or other genetic causes can cause the bad breath to return again and again.
