Salmonella found at Ilit chocolate factory

Salmonella bacterium was found during a routine inspection at the Ilit chocolate factory – in chocolate, from which various chocolate products are made, and on the conveyor.

The Strauss Concern, which owns the factory, announced a campaign to recall a large list of products, including Para chocolate bars, Pesek Zman, Taami, Kif-kaf chocolates and other products from the Ilit factory.
