Austria’s artificial track tobogganers are in a league of their own this winter and pose a puzzle to the competition. After the team had already won the home World Cup a week ago, they now followed up in Oberhof.
The Austrians sledded with their big competitor on the Germans’ home track.
The team succeeded in the men’s single-seater second quadruple victory within a week. This time Jonas Müller won the Austrian championships with international participation.
The Vorarlberger was the fastest ahead of the brothers Nico and David Gleirscher and veteran Wolfgang Kindl.
The women’s singles competition had already ended with an Austrian double victory by Madeleine Egle and Lisa Schulte; in the women’s doubles, Selina Egle and Lara Kipp were in a class of their own.
