Chelsea’s 18-year-old Jesse Derry received supplemental oxygen on the field, was taken to the hospital by ambulance

In the Premier League a match between Chelsea and Nottingham Forest was played on Monday.

Perhaps the most interesting player before the match was Chelsea’s 18-year-old super promise Jesse Derrywho made it to the team’s starting line-up for the first time.

However, Derry’s long-awaited debut took a dramatic turn towards the end of the opening period when he crashed violently against Nottingham to Zach Abbott. In the situation, Derry received a blow to the head and fell to the surface of the field.

The medical staff who rushed to the field gave Derry extra oxygen on the field, before the youngster was transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment. According to Chelsea, Derry is conscious and able to speak, and he will undergo some further tests as a precaution.

Self in the match, Chelsea fell badly behind Nottingham on their home field, as the visitors took the points by 3–1. The defeat was Chelsea’s sixth in a row in the Premier League, and the team has fallen to ninth place in the standings.

At the tail end of the series, Nottingham increased the point difference to the relegation line to six points with their win.

Evening in the late game, Manchester City, involved in the championship fight, came close to suffering a surprise defeat in the away match against Everton.

Everton already took a 3–1 lead in the 81st minute, but Erling Haaland tied the game just two minutes later. The final solution was seen in the last minute of extra time, when Jeremy Doku brought City to a draw.

With the draw point, City are second in the league, five points away from Arsenal. City has played one match less than Londoners.
