PSG: Parisian Titis qualified for the semi-finals of the French championship

It’s a decidedly busy season for the Parisian Titis. After reaching the semi-finals of the Youth League and just before playing the final of the Gambardella Cup in a week, the Paris Saint-Germain U19s qualified this Saturday for the semi-finals of the French under-19 championship.

Double title holder of this U19 championship, the young people of PSG can therefore still aim for an unprecedented treble. This Saturday, they faced FC Nantes, unfortunate finalist last season and champion in 2022 and 2023. A shock at the top, therefore.

Result: a victory by the smallest of margins for the Reds and Blues, thanks to a goal from Mathis Jeangeal. The young 17-year-old attacking midfielder, who regularly appeared in the group with the professional team this season, broke the deadlock in a match dominated by the Parisians with a deflected shot, following a short corner (1-0, 77th).

Next step for the Titis Parisiens: the semi-final of the U19 championship, on May 31 against FC Metz. Before that, there will be the final of the Coupe Gambardella, on May 22 at the Stade de France as a curtain-raiser to the final of the Coupe de France. Two opportunities to finish with a bang for the PSG Titis, like their elders.
