Golfer Leonie Harm celebrates home victory at the German Masters

“I’m a bit emotionally overwhelmed at the moment,” said Harm afterwards: “I’m really happy that I made it over the line here in Germany.” A long journey had led the Stuttgart native to this success, which began with serious injuries after a life-threatening accident at the age of 15. And it culminated in a career that wasn’t always without setbacks: In recent years, Harm had to repeatedly fight for her right to compete at the LET, but last year she got back on track with a completely renewed momentum. A second place was already on the cards for her in Sweden in 2025, and now the home win followed on a difficult golf course, but in front of a familiar backdrop: “Dad, you’re there too,” Harm called out to her father, who was already waiting for her behind the final green.
