Fermana, the visit of President Asi Barbaro: “Culture and sport, the agreement for the creation of the Academy is strategic”

During the afternoon, Barbaro met the honorary presidents of the club, Rodolfo Guarini and Umberto Simoni, the vice presidents Samuele Isidori and Roberto Ferroni, the member Filippo Simoni, the general director Federico Ruggeri, a delegation of first team players and the ASI Culture manager for the Marche Gabriele Bani. During the visit, the affiliation of the Fermana Football Club to ASI was formalized and the first steps of the Fermana Academy project, the new training and cultural center of the yellow-blue club, were presented. “The affiliation of Fermana to ASI – he explained – and the birth of this Academy represent a virtuous model of how a football club can become an engine of social and territorial development”.

The project, conceived by the communication agency Incandenza, aims to consolidate the company not only as a reference sporting reality in the Marche region, but as a true agent of social change at a national level. Through Fermana Academy, educational, training and cultural courses aimed at young people will be activated, in collaboration with schools, universities and entities in the Marche region, with a scheduled start from next autumn. Courses already in the pipeline include: sports communication, event organisation, sports photography, cinema and audiovisual, coaching and youth leadership. digital culture, social media, sports tourism, social planning and territorial enhancement. “We thank ASI, president Barbaro and the head of the Culture area Michele Cioffi. It is an agreement with a broad, inclusive and innovative vision, of which there are very few examples on a national scale and none in our category – explains the vice president of the company Isidori – A choice on which Fermana is focusing a lot to take root even more in the territory and represent a fixed point also and above all off the pitch”.
