The 44-year-old, who originally ended her career after the US Open 2022 but is currently in top form, will play doubles alongside the Canadian in England’s capital Victoria Mboko get started.
Williams in her career 23 Grand-Slam-Titel won in the singles and is now a mother of two, spoke of a “new chapter” when announcing his comeback: “I have experienced some of the most important moments of my career on grass, and I am looking forward to competing again on one of the most legendary stages of this sport.”
