Nagelsmann and his shirts: The national coach’s outfit looked like it had been changed

Before kick-off, Nagelsmann appeared for the TV interview in a black Adidas sports shirt with the Germany coat of arms. At the start of the game he stood on the sidelines in a striped polo shirt and light-colored trousers. After the break came outfit number three: a simple black T-shirt. The highlight: the names of fans were written on the back. After the final whistle, the national coach was seen again in the sports shirt from the preliminary round.

When ARD jokingly asked whether he had set a record for the most shirt changes of the evening, Nagelsmann waved it off. “Just once, actually,” he said. He had already worn the black sports shirt before the game. The change at halftime was simply due to the heat. He also deliberately put on the fan shirt: “The fans created a great atmosphere. I wanted to reward that with one or two names on the shirt.”
