World champion Eric Garcia visits his Barça teammates

Defender Eric Garcia, recent 2026 World Cup champion with the Spanish team, made a surprise visit to the FC Barcelona first team training session at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper this Thursday to greet his teammates, in a session directed by German coach Hansi Flick.

The Spanish international, who has not yet joined the Blaugrana discipline after the tournament played in the United States, Mexico and Canada, approached Camp 2 in Sant Joan Despí after winning the world title with Spain last Sunday.

In the morning session, Flick had all the available first team players and returned to complete the training with a large representation of the youth team, made up of 17 players from Barça Atlètic and the Juvenil team.

After completing a single work session this Thursday, FC Barcelona will resume the planned plan with double training on Friday, although the day will conclude with a preparation match against CE Europa.
