Jesse Puljujärvi: the fate of the gold medal was decided

Ice hockey player Jesse Puljujärvi has received a new World Cup gold medal to replace the one lost in the hustle and bustle of the championship celebration.

The matter is confirmed to HS by the Communications Director of the Ice Hockey Federation Henna Malmberg.

Puljujärvi was the first to tell about the new medal Evening newspaper.

On Tuesday, a content producer working for the Ice Hockey Federation shared a playful video on Tiktok, in which Puljujärvi grabs a new medal with a snare drum from the water. You can watch the video by pressing from this link.

Lions won the world championship in the early summer when it knocked off Switzerland in the World Cup final in overtime.

Shortly after this, Puljujärvi’s missing medal became a big topic of conversation.

Puljujärvi said that he lost the gold medal in a karaoke bar in Helsinki. He suspected someone had stolen it.
