Athletics The European Championship starts on Monday in Birmingham.
The Finnish winners of the day session were the shot putter Emilia Fabric, a sprinter Lotta Kemppinen and aturi Heidi Salminen.
Kangas definitely pushed his way to the final, and Kemppinen and Salminen ran to the semi-finals. The fabric final and Kemppinen’s semi-final will be seen later in the evening.
On Monday, among the Finnish stars in real action, we will still see the moukari women Silja Kosonen and Krista Tervo.
