Wolff and Makuc provide the accents at THW
The THW started well. Rune Dahmke gave the team a four-goal lead with his goal in the 11th minute to make it 7:3. However, the Lippers were unimpressed and equalized the game at 9:9 (15th).
After the break it took almost six minutes until the first goal. Samuel Zehnder reduced the score to 16:17 for the guests with a seven-meter shot. Afterwards, however, the record champions took the initiative again. Slovenian Domen Makuc, who came from FC Barcelona, provided the accent in the attack, while national goalkeeper Andreas Wolff was a strong support in defense with 14 saves.
At 24:18 (43rd), the lead had increased to six goals. Kiel no longer gave up control of the game and celebrated an unchallenged home win.
