LONDON (Ekstra Bladet): Christian Eriksen spent the last part of his rehabilitation before the agreement with Brentford on building up the form in Ajax.
There he was reunited with his old friend from the Ajax era, Daley Blind.
And the former Manchester United player shares a common destiny with Eriksen.
Daley Blind also has an implanted ICD device. The Dutchman got his defibrillator on a less dramatic background than Christian Eriksen. But the consequences for the daily life of an elite athlete are the same.
– I have used Daley a lot… both to hear what he can and what he can not at different times, says Christian Eriksen.
– Of course I have talked to a lot of doctors at the same time, but in the football sense I have leaned very much on him.
– I know that all my physical trainers and doctors have been through the same physical build-up phase that he was through, says Christian Eriksen.
Daley Blind is an important piece at Ajax – and continues to play on the national team.
