The arrangement received 89 percent approval, which required only a simple majority, and the audio platform will become the Catalan entity’s main sponsor; nevertheless, the club has not provided details of the operation, which are covered by a confidentiality provision.

Beginning in the 2022-23 season and continuing for the next four seasons, Spotify will be featured on the front of the men’s and women’s first team shirts. Spotify will also sponsor the two teams’ training shirts for three years, beginning in the 2022-23 season.

The company’s name will be tied to that of the Camp Nou, and will appear in the stadium’s name beginning in July 2022, and will be extended with the venue’s refurbishment as part of the Espai Barça.
