Zadar basketball player Luka Božić was declared the most useful player of the ABA League for March, for the third time this season, it was announced on Wednesday on the official website of this regional competition.
Božić throughout the month of March proved his dominance in the ABA League matches, and besides finishing the month at the top of the statistical evaluation category, he deserved the award for his contribution to the team’s success – Zadar won three of his five games played in the month of October.
Božić in Zadar games in spring, he averaged 18 points, 7.6 rebounds, seven assists and a rating of 24.4.
As this is Luka Božić’s third MVP award of the month, it is clear that the gameč is slowly but surely entering the history of the AdmiralBet ABA League.
– This is a big mistake. It’s always a special feeling when you achieve something big, which will forever be recorded in the history of the league – said the Zadar basketball player.
Luka Božić became the first gameč in league history to score two triple-doubles in one season.
– I am really happy about my triple-doubles, but without the head coach, professional coach and teammates, it would not have been possible to achieve that. It would be nice if I made another one, but it is certainly more important to me that my team plays well and wins – concluded Božić.
