In the postponement of the thirty-first matchday of Serie A, Empoli beat Torino 3-2 and made an important move towards safety. With this success, Empoli rises to 28 points, moving three points clear of the relegation zone and putting an end to a negative streak that had lasted for 4 games. On the other hand, however, Torino remains ninth, but still clinging to the European train.
