Bosnia and Herzegovina surprised with a new “dragons” menu.  She also chose a new director

Sergej Barbarez (52) is a new menu football national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and he was appointed to that position on Friday by the Executive Committee of the Football Association of BiH with the task of consolidating the situation in the next four years and trying to end the series of constant defeats in the qualifications for international competitions.

At the same time, a new director of the BiH national football team was appointed, and he was appointed to that position Emir Spahić which he thus replaced Zvezdana Misimovića.

The appointment of Barbarez has been demanded by the fans of the BiH football team for years, but the leadership of the NS BiH persistently refused it, as well as all the criticism on their account.

The current president of the National Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Vico Zeljković earlier he threatened that Barbarez will never be a coach while he is in that position, but on Friday he spoke about him in front of the journalists in chosen words.

– Here are the true legends of BiH football. We are happy because we found a common language and that we will try to achieve the best possible results in the next four years – said Zeljkovi. justifying himself also because of the harsh words and insults he directed at the newly appointed selector in the past.

– Some things were affected, and only fools don’t change their minds – said Zeljković adding that the BiH national team is facing a difficult year and eight “hellish matches”, and the goal is to take measures to gradually secure placement at future European and world championships.

Barbarez did not comment on the past and is focused on working with the ‘dragons’.

– This is a big thing for me. I hope it will be for both the national team and the federation. We come with a great desire to achieve some great things. It would be incorrect for me to comment on the past now. We will follow our path and be sure that everything will be 100 percent correct – he declared.

Sergej Barbarez is olderć the sixteenth coach of the BiH national team and succeeded the Serbian football expert Sava Milošević, who was in that position for just over six months, and was fired after failing to qualify for the upcoming European Championship in Germany.

Barbarez himself once played for the football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In that country’s jersey, he played 47 games and scored 17 goals. He started playing football in the jersey of Vele from Mostar, and then continued his international playing career in Germany, where he played for seven different clubs, making more than 500 appearances. He said goodbye to his playing career in 2008.
