Bayern and Real offer everything but a winner

If the Bayern and Real Madrid meet each other, the fans get their money’s worth. This was also the case on Tuesday Semi-final first leg the Champions League. After two penalties, four goals and one 2:2-Remitted one thing is clear: in the second leg next Wednesday Bernabeu stadium it will happen again.

“All in red” was the motto for the game that Bayern called for. All fans were supposed to come to the arena wearing red and much of the crowd did.

Red – the color of danger – appeared in front of the guests’ goal after just 40 seconds. Leroy Sané had after pass from Harry Kane and an overall attack worth seeing, the first chance of the game, but failed Empty Monday.

The Ukrainian should see red more often in the first 20 minutes. Bayern dominated the early stages in their own stadium and were dangerous on several occasions. Once again Sanethen Kane with an attempted lob from the halfway line and She had to fired at the Real goal. But it hit the other side.

Real Madrid needed just one chance to take the lead in Munich. Bayern defender Kim had allowed himself to be lured out of the back four. Toni Kroos played the ball perfectly into the hole, Vinicius Junior sprinted into the depths and left Neuer no chance – 0:1 (23rd).

Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel reacted at the break, bringing Guerreiro in midfield for Goretzka, who wasn’t quite up to speed, and letting the wings Sané and Musiala switch sides. Bayern were back on track after the shock in the first half. The two dribblers were used better again and promptly hurt the Real defense.

The equalizer came eight minutes after the break. Konrad Laimer, who cleared almost everything in the center and always tried to play quickly in depth, found Sané on the right wing. The 28-year-old dribbled the ball towards the middle on his left foot and hit the near corner – 1-1 (53′).

Real now seemed overwhelmed. Lucas Vázquez, who stepped in as right-back, was definitely there with Jamal Musiala. The 21-year-old did the same as Sané, dribbling with the stronger inside foot, his right, from the left to the middle and was only stopped by Vázquez with a foul. Harry Kane coldly converted the logical penalty (57th). Bayern led and almost followed suit. However, Dier and Laimer were unable to push the ball over the line after corners.

Luka Modric should bring calm back into the real game in the final phase. The 38-year-old did more than that, he made his mark. Real appeared in Bayern’s penalty area more often and were rewarded. Kim beat Rodrygo and there were penalties again. Ice cold was transformed again. Vinicius defeated Neuer (83′) – the first act remained without a winner.
