The routines of the Champions League must be starting to seem a bit boring to Mats Hummels. Same again this Monday: airport, small talk, the short hop to Paris, team bus, check-in, single room and in the evening one last training session with the ball in the opponent’s stadium. Not touched a thousand times, but at least: Hummels has already played 88 games in the so-called premier class, 64 of them for Borussia Dortmund. Game 65 is against Paris Saint-Germain this Tuesday. And if the mission finale were successful, then the bets are high that the counting and the routines will continue even into the next season.
