International arrest warrant for the first suspect in the murder of a Croatian handball player in Skopje
Today, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Northern Macedonia issued an international arrest warrant for Angela Djordjievski, the first suspect in the murder of Croatian handball player Denis Tot.According to the arrest warrant, Angelo Djordjievski, born on January 13, 1994 in Skopje, where he lives, is wanted due to a well-founded suspicion that he committed the crime of murder.

Angelo Djordjievski is the first suspect in the murder of 27-year-old Croatian handball player Denis Tot, who died on Friday at an intensive care clinic in Skopje after being beaten in front of the Privilege disco the day before.

Skopje police arrested a 22-year-old man and a 19-year-old girl on the basis of security camera footage in front of a disco, after an autopsy was performed on Saturday, due to a physical attack on a 27-year-old “Butela” handball player.

According to the video, which appeared in the media, Djordjievski hit Toto, who then fell on the asphalt and received head injuries from which he later died. While he was lying on the ground, the girl approached him several times and shot him.

According to Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski, the Croatian handball player and the girl who brutally hit him in the head knew each other from before, and the attack on Toto was preceded by an argument.

Macedonian media also write that the first suspect, Angelo Djordjievski, hit five parked cars in Maribor in 2016 and fled the scene, and when the police found him, they also found a mini-factory of synthetic drugs.

Djordjievski is being prosecuted in Slovenia for the production of psychotropic substances, ie drugs that are known among nightclub visitors.
