Ice hockey goalkeeper Louise Aksglæde is dead

Ice hockey goalkeeper Louise Aksglæde is dead. She turned 39 years old.

This is stated by AaB’s women’s team, for which she played, in a post on Facebook.

AaB received the news on Monday morning that she had died late Sunday night after a short illness.

– Our thoughts are with Louise’s family during this difficult time. There is no doubt that you leave a huge void in the dressing room, the club writes.

AaB plays in the best ice hockey league for women in Denmark.

Louise Aksglæde’s former club Odense Ice Hockey Club has also marked the death on her Facebook page.

– Louise, you were the coolest and warmest person you could know, and we will remember you and our shared experiences, the club writes, among other things.
