Microsoft Edge can now import settings and open tabs from Chrome

This tool is activated when the user opens Microsoft Edge. The new Settings section, first spotted by a Reddit user, it is already listed on the company’s Support page.

Transferring settings from Chrome to Microsoft Edge allows you to “maintain the overall browsing experience”, although not all settings will be imported. It focuses, in particular, in autocomplete, in the appearance, in the settings of the search engines and start as well as on privacy, security and downloads.

Another option that it already offers refers to open tabs. In this way, the user will be able to import the open and anchored tabs in Chrome, without a maximum limit, although the company warns that importing more than 50 at a time can slow down the computer.
