EA Origin Account Users with Expired Credentials Have Issues Linking to PlayStation and Xbox

Some users of Electronic Arts games are experiencing issues linking their PlayStation and Xbox accounts to their from old EA Origin that has expired access credentials.

EA Origin accounts opened years ago with email addresses that are currently disabled are giving problems to users looking to unlink them to Xbox and PlayStation accounts.

The problem has been collected for a long time in the EA forums, and the company itself has recognized it and has even assured that it is actively working on your solution, as Eurogamer collects. However, while it arrives, some users have lost access to the developer’s games.

At the heart of the matter is the EA account system, which when a password reset is requested, sends the link to the email with which the account was created, even if it is deactivated.

Al not being able to recover the email or reset the password, your old account becomes inaccessible, making it difficult to unlink or link the account to a PlayStation and Xbox account. It is also not possible to unlink this account from the console profile and create a new account, since, as the company explains, they are protecting user information from possible malicious attacks.
