Anker announces the new generation of chargers with GaNPrime technology

Anker has unveiled a new line of chargers that include GaNPrime smart charging technology and have an incredibly small footprint.

At a ceremony when it was announced, the business made clear that this new standard, which was created with gallium nitride (GaN), ensures improved performance.

One of the standout benefits of the new chargers, which are smaller and lighter, is improved efficiency, which supports sustainability.

GaNPrime specifically makes use of the more than 1,000 device compatible next generation PowerIQ 4.0. As a result, the chargers recognize each connected device’s power requirements automatically.

Additionally, they modify the power output in real time to allow for simultaneous, full-speed charging, which can cut the charging time by up to an hour.

ActiveShield 2.0, on the other hand, enhances device security by monitoring the temperature up to 3 million times each day, avoiding overheating to safeguard the electrical installation and linked devices, and reducing the risk of theft.

The new GaNPrime chargers also have a small size, which was made possible by Anker’s GaN mini-transformer technology. This technology allowed for a size reduction of up to 53%.

The Asian manufacturer has revealed the two new models that will use this charging method and will be available in Europe this summer through Amazon. This announcement coincides with the introduction of the technology.

The first of these is the Anker 737 Charger, which has three USB-C and two USB-A connections and 120W of power. Black, white, and rose gold are the three hues available for purchase.

The second charger, the Anker 735 Charger, uses the same design but has a lower wattage of 65W. It will be offered in the same colors for 59,99 euros and is designed for everyday laptop or smartphone charging.

On the other hand, Anker has introduced new USB-C cables with support for PowerDelivery and fast charging of up to 140W, the so-called Anker 765 USB-C, which have undergone more than 35,000 folds of testing in the lab.

They are 35 times more durable than a typical cable and have a strength that can handle 80 kg of weight. These cables will cost 29,99 euros and 32,99 euros, respectively, in 1 and 2 meter lengths.

The Anker 737 PowerCore 24K, a “powerbank” with a capacity of 24,000mAh and ultra-fast charging in two USB-C ports and a USB-A connector with up to 140W of power, has finally been announced by the Chinese manufacturer.

The PowerIQ technology and temperature control system both operate with this extra battery. Although the precise date of arrival on the Spanish market is not yet known, it will soon be available for the price of 149,99 euros.
