Personal transforms its operation with the use of Artificial Intelligence

Personal Argentina held a new edition of the International Technology Seminar (SIT), an event that It was consolidated as a meeting point to anticipate trends in the ICT industry. The 2026 edition took place over three days, in a hybrid and in-person format, bringing together more than 11,000 attendees from Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay, along with technology providers and executives from companies such as Huawei, AWS, Google, Nokia, Globant and ZTE.

This year, SIT included more than 190 talks focused on automation, connectivity, generative AI, and infrastructure evolution. Over there, Telecom Argentina’s service brand showed where its digital transformation strategy is headedwith more autonomous networks, automated operations and Artificial Intelligence applied transversally to the business.

“Technological evolution challenges us to build an increasingly automated and resilient operation,” he stated. Miguel FernandezCTO of Personnel. “We are incorporating artificial intelligence at different levels of the infrastructure to anticipate events, optimize resources and evolve towards a more autonomous network,” added the technological manager of Personal.

The company presented advances linked to automation, self-healing networks and fiber optic and 5G deployments. As explained during the meeting, the objective is to move towards models of Autonomous Networks and operations where a good part of the technical management is resolved in an automated manner.

At the moment, More than 60% of the company’s technical orders are already managed by intelligent agents. At the SIT, assistants aimed at technicians and dispatchers capable of accessing contextual information and speeding up diagnoses during customer visits were also shown.

Another of the advertisements revolved around the presentation of an innovation center in Artificial Intelligence, the Gen AI Innovation Hub of Personal, a space created to concentrate developments based on generative AI and agentic architectures applied to networks, customer experience, productivity and corporate processes.

“Artificial intelligence is no longer an isolated technology: it crosses platforms, processes and ways of working,” he said. Guillermo Paezdirector of Personal Product and Services Platforms. And he added: “We are evolving towards a cognitive organization where AI capabilities are integrated transversally to enhance people, operations and business.”

The Hub works on More AIan internal platform developed by the company to centralize reusable Artificial Intelligence models and capabilities. The architecture seeks to accelerate new use cases and scale automation tools within different areas of the business.

Among the implementations already operational, it stood out Concierge, a conversational agent that processes around 450,000 calls monthly. The system can interpret natural language, answer frequent queries and refer interactions to digital channels without human intervention.

The company also showcased AI applications in consumer products and financial services. In Flowfor example, uses algorithms to personalize content recommendations, while in Personal Pay develops intelligent agents aimed at accelerating testing and development processes of digital products.

In addition to Artificial Intelligencethe SIT 2026 agenda focused on energy efficiency and sustainability. In this framework, Personal presented initiatives such as the installation of solar panels in corporate buildings in the City of Buenos Aires and Córdoba.

With the industry increasingly pressured by the growth of data consumption and the computational demand of AI, Telecommunications are beginning to combine infrastructure expansion with automation and energy efficiency. In this scenario, Personal seeks to position itself not only as a connectivity provider, but also as an integrated digital services platform.
