Jensen Huang signed on the bathroom wall, ‘covering’ the grilled corn counter

In a video posted by Nvidia’s X account on May 25, CEO Jensen Huang experienced the cuisine at Raohe night market on Taiwan island on the evening of May 24. He then went to a snack bar. After enjoying the dishes, he went to the bathroom and “conveniently” wrote on the wall the words “Jensen was here”, with his signature and date.

“Some people left reviews for the store, and Jensen left his signature,” Nvidia wrote on X.

The video quickly went viral, receiving about 150,000 views and hundreds of comments. Some later videos on social networks showed that the restaurant’s restroom immediately became the “check-in” point for many people. “The text makes it almost impossible to go to the bathroom here,” wrote an X account.

In another video also at Raohe night market, Mr. Huang visits a grilled corn shop. He immediately asked the store owner to pay everyone waiting to buy. The crowd then seemed to agree to let him be served first.

However, his action of “using money to jump in line” also caused some controversy. “Will the real influencer line up or give money to the seller?”, an account named Amanda asked on X.

However, the majority defended CEO Nvidia. “He did not directly say he would pay to get priority in line, but just paid for the entire order, so people waiting did not feel uncomfortable and the money was spent very generously,” Haro, an account claiming to be at the grilled corn stall, wrote on X. “He could buy the whole night market if he wanted.”

Jensen Huang currently has a fortune of $186 billion, according to the billionaires index Forbes. In the past, he also caused controversy when interacting with fans, such as in June 2024, when he signed an autograph on a woman’s chest.
