Multi-year global agreement between DXC Technology and Anthropic

The cooperation builds on the operational results already recorded by DXC in using Anthropic’s models to optimize its internal processes. The Claude models were in fact used as the primary development architecture for the creation of DXC OASISa native orchestration platform for managed services launched in April 2026 and is currently live with more than 50 joint customers. Technical data provided by the companies indicates that the adoption of algorithmic models has accelerated software delivery by an estimated tenfold, with more than 95% of the source code generated by artificial intelligence before human review and validation. This methodological approach is now extended to end customer systems through the protocol called DXC Xponentialan operational model designed to connect human resources, process flows and computational architectures.

The operational core of the agreement provides for the creation of a specialized body of engineers selected within the DXC structureintended to operate directly in customers’ IT environments. Technical staff will complete a 90-day training and certification course at the Anthropic Partner Academy, gaining ongoing daily access to Claude’s resources for the design and governance of agentic systems. Regarding the implications of this development model, Paul Smith, Chief Commercial Officer of Anthropic, clarified: “DXC helps the world’s largest banking institutions, airlines, insurers and government agencies implement new technologies. They tested Claude within their own operations first, under the same safety and regulatory compliance requirements that their customers face. Now we’re taking Claude into those environments together, sector by sector, with engineers who have already done it themselves”.

Initial planning of commercial and software development activities will focus on priority sectors such as insurance, cybersecurity and application services. In the insurance sector solutions will be implemented for the transformation of central systems in line with the operating models of individual companies. In the context of application servicesthe Modernization as a Service (MaaS) formula will employ artificial intelligence for the analysis and refactoring of legacy code, reducing the migration times of old enterprise databases. For cybersecurity, The integration of a Claude Security-based sub-agent within the DXC OASIS platform will enable security operations centers to automate threat detection.
