These are the best-selling brands and models of cars in Croatia

In the first six months, the most Škoda cars were sold, 5,888 units, and this company achieved a share of 13.52 percent on the Croatian passenger vehicle market. It is followed by Volkswagen, with 5,444 vehicles sold and a market share of 12.5 percent. Opel achieved slightly higher sales in that period, with 3,597 vehicles sold and a market share of 8.26 percent, and Renault, 3,389 vehicles and a market share of 7.78 percent.

In June alone, 8,886 vehicles were sold, which is 107 or 1.2 percent more than in June a year earlier. At the same time, Škoda, 1,309, and Volkswagen, 1,241, were also the most sold.

The best-selling model in June was Volkswagen’s T-Cross, with 595 units sold, followed by Škoda Octavia, 593 units. A significant number of Opel Frontera, 362, and Opel Mokka, 323, were also sold.

From the beginning of January to the end of June, the most customers chose a new vehicle with a hybrid drive, 20,211 of them, which is a share of 46.4 percent in total sales.

They are followed by petrol stations, with 16,529 or 38 percent sold. Diesels are in third place with a 10.5 percent share, i.e. sales of 4,586 vehicles.

1,824 fully electric vehicles were sold (4.2 percent share), and 390 gas-powered vehicles (0.9 percent share).
