Apple now allows you to customize Siri’s voice and expressiveness, among the new features of the third beta of iOS 27

Apple has added the ability to customize the voice and expressiveness of its revamped Siri AI assistant with the third developer beta of its new iOS 27 operating system iteration, which includes voice controls for “pace” and “expressiveness.”

Those from Cupertino presented Siri AI within the framework of their annual presentation for developers WWDC 26, their improved assistant powered by Apple Intelligence that, in addition to being smarter and more capable, also offers responses with a more “natural and interactive” conversation.

In this sense, Apple has distributed the third beta version of iOS 27 for developers, with which it has implemented tools to customize the way you interact with Siri AI, which allows you to vary characteristics such as the “rhythm” and “expressiveness” of the assistant when chatting in natural conversations.

In previous beta versions released to developers, these features were listed as coming “coming soon.” However, now you can moderate or speed up the pace of conversation, as well as vary whether you are more or less expressive in your responses, simply by sliding on an adjustment bar.

This has been reported by media such as MacRumors, 9to5Mac and some users who have had access to this latest beta version, as they have shared through the social network

Siri will show the results of the adjustments made in its personalization with the notification “You have a new message”, to see how the different voices turn out.

In addition to the customization of Siri, Apple has also introduced other updates in the third beta of iOS 27, such as updating the icon design for the Reminders application.

Continuing with the design, modifications have also been added to the appearance of Liquid Glass, with softer reflections on app icons. Following this line, the status bar in the Control Center now shows the signal and type of mobile network, even when using a WiFi connection.

Besides, Another new feature has been added to the Safari browser, which includes automatic tab organization tools, navigation by bookmarks according to their themes and the ‘Notify Me’ function, which analyzes web pages to identify changes. Apple has also added the creation of custom extensions.

All in all, this new beta version of iOS 27 (build number 24A5380h) can now be downloaded from the Apple developer program, with the aim of testing its latest features.

Apple has also released the third developer beta of watchOS 27, introducing AI support for the revamped Siri assistant, as well as the new standalone Siri app.
