Honor has presented Agentic OSthe operating system that replaces MagicOS and has been designed specifically for artificial intelligence agents, with which it aims to bring to consumers what it calls “embodied interaction” with the new Robot Phone.
The technology company attended the World Artificial Intelligence Conference this weekend, held in Shanghai (China), where it shared its vision on the relationship between artificial intelligence (AI) and people.
In this sense, the CEO of Honor, Li Jian, has explained that AI will evolve from being a “cold tool” to “a humanoid life form similar to a partner” and on the path to achieving this, what he calls “an embodied interaction” will be important.
As a first step, the idea of embodied interaction has been incorporated into the company’s mobile operating system, which is no longer called MagicOS but AgenticOS, and introduces human-like intelligence, which is no longer limited to the execution of commands but rather is driven by intention and task.
This intelligence will demand a new architecture, in which multiple agents will interact with a master agent, which will be in charge of coordinating a large number of devices, services and data.
AgenticOS will offer Natural, intent-based interaction, proactive intelligence, and cross-platform compatibility inherent. “In the near future, for an increasing number of dynamic and complex tasks, users will only have to say a sentence and their mobile phones will be able to complete it automatically,” the company explains in a press release.
As part of the work to develop AgenticOS, Honor has developed together with Alibaba a new large model and has created Robot Phonewhich has perception, reasoning, execution and feedback capabilities to drive multimodal interaction.
According to the company, this device can autonomously execute different continuous tasks between applications, in addition to transferring artificial intelligence to the physical world, fulfilling the concept of embodied interaction.
Robot Phone integrates the four degrees of freedom gimbal systemwhich becomes an actuator for AI agents with the OpenClaw open platformso that natural language can be used to control actions in the physical world.
This device, characterized by a robotic arm with mechanical movement and powered by AI that allows advanced cinematographic capabilities, was shown in March at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and is now available for pre-sale in China, where it can be found in white and gray.
