Samsung places robotics as a key pillar of its future growth with the new Robotics eXperience division

Samsung has announced the creation of the RX Business Office (Robotics eXperience), with which it aims to promote robotics as one of the fundamental pillars of its future growth and strengthen its competitiveness in next-generation businesses.

The RX Business Office, headquartered at the Seoul R&D Campus (South Korea) and under the direct supervision of the CEO, will integrate the robotics-related capabilities of the entire company and establish an execution system that encompasses the medium and long-term strategy to generate new business opportunities.

It will be complemented by a Data Factory at the Gumi facilities, which will collaborate with the R&D Campus to reinforce the use of data and create the bases that allow robots to be quickly deployed in real environments, as explained in a press release.

Samsung’s plans include establishing global research centers in the United States, China and Japan, countries where it believes robotics technology is evolving rapidly, as well as promoting competitiveness through the local ecosystem and attracting talent.
