Ho Chi Minh City supports 200,000 VND/day for participants to ‘clean’ data

That is part of the instructions issued on July 25 by the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City implementing the Resolution of the City People’s Council on the regime of supporting forces participating in peak plans to build and standardize the national database and key specialized databases in the area.

Accordingly, the support level of 200,000 VND per person per day is applied to those who are appointed, assigned by competent authorities or mobilized to participate in data peak plans.

The nominated person is required to have appropriate capacity and expertise to perform the tasks of building and standardizing data, ensuring input data is accurate, quality, and on schedule so that data is connected, synchronized, interconnected, maintained and continuously updated between agencies in the political system…

Plans focus on building and standardizing data in three groups including: 13 national and key specialized databases that are required to be connected and shared within the political system; 20 national databases according to the Prime Minister’s list; and 330 national and specialized databases serving comprehensive digital transformation, of which 242 databases are required to be connected and shared.

Participants are supported when there is a decision to appoint personnel from the competent authority and are timed according to the actual number of working days during the plan implementation period. For officials, civil servants, and public employees who receive salaries from the budget, the time for support must be outside of paid working hours according to regulations.
Support policies are not duplicated and the highest priority is given.

This year, Ho Chi Minh City plans to organize 13 peak periods of construction and data standardization, each peak period has a maximum of 7,000 participants, implementation time is no more than 90 days and must commit to output. Funding for implementation is allocated from the budget for science, technology, innovation and digital transformation according to current decentralization.

In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City will organize two 90-day rush periods to standardize data on marriage and land. As a result, the marital status data of about 7.4 million people was cleaned, more than 3.1 million plots of land were digitized and updated, creating a foundation for exploiting and sharing data for management and provision of public services.
